BIOGRAPHY
Stephen J. Sala has degrees in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute and the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Sala has over 30 years of experience in the engineering, construction, and inspection business. He has held positions as a draftsman, surveyor, superintendent, estimator, and project manager on commercial projects thruout the US. Mr. Sala started out conducting commercial building assessments and capital needs studies and then started his own home inspection business in 1990 . He has conducted building condition surveys for financial institutions, condominium associations, the Dept of Housing and Urban Development, the Harvard Medical School and School of Public Health, etc. He is a member of the Belmont Permanent Building and Library Committees. Mr. Sala has built many a home including his own in Belmont.
HOBBIES
My interests include travel, fishing, biking, skiing, swimming, history, construction, etc.
In addition to my home inspection business, I assist my wife with her gardening business “Underwood Greenhouses” in Belmont MA. Visit us in the Spring and Summer for organic flowers and vegetables!
